Navy Pier
Navy Pier is a 3,300-foot-long (1,010 m) pier on the shoreline of Lake Michigan and comprises over 50 acres (20 ha) of parks, gardens, shops, restaurants, family attractions, and exhibition facilities. It is the second most-visited tourist attraction in Chicago and one of the most popular tourist attractions in the Midwest.
The Chicago “L”
Take a ride and get around Chicago in a flash with the “L,” Chicago’s rapid transit system serving the city and surrounding suburbs. The "L" gained its name because large parts of the system run on elevated track; other portions of the track run through subways or at grade level.

The city is also renowned for its museums, including the Art Institute of Chicago with its noted Impressionist and Post-Impressionist works.
